📈 Be conscious of what format it is in, and of whether there is any uneditable text, such as within images, inserted tables, something a conversion didn’t pick up etc. We often have to convert documents that aren’t already in Word to allow us to edit the text or to easily find the word count.
🌎 Make sure to specify what the source language and target language are. If you have a purchase order number or a deadline of any kind, just pop that in the email too.
📝 We usually base our rates on the word count, unless it’s especially small, then we use a minimum charge.
