Professional Arabic Translations from MTT

Your first point of contact for Arabic translations is one of our experienced translation project managers. They will select the right translator for you to work with, who will have the relevant knowledge and experience within the field required.

At MTT we have mother-tongue translators and interpreters located around the world, covering all the variants of the different countries where Arabic is used.

Arabic is one of the world’s great languages. It has a rich vocabulary and was created at the beginning of the 7th Century. The Arabic language today is spoken over 250 million people in the Middle East and North Africa. Arabic is also taught to various levels of proficiency throughout Asia.

Written from right to left, modern Arabic is also bi-directional, so in one sentence there may be both Arabic and Latin words each flowing in their natural direction. Arabic script is also the second most widely used writing system in the world.

Arabic is an official language in 27 states ranging across the north of Africa and throughout the Middle East and would you believe that it’s the eleventh-most-spoken language in the United States!

There are approximately 442 million native Arabic speakers in the world making it the sixth most commonly spoken language in the world and one of the six official languages of the United Nations, so it’s clear that Arabic is a language of influence, in both trade and culture.

In the UK, there are some 160,000 native speakers of Arabic in England and Wales, some of whom will require information presented to them in their own language. We often supply Arabic translation services to housing and health companies, educational institutions and trusts. At MTT, we provide translation to and from all variants of Arabic using only highly qualified native speakers who are often experts in their chosen field – be that court papers, water treatment or publicity campaigns. We are also able to typeset translated documents in Arabic to ensure your brochures and flyers create the right kind of impact.

The Middle East and Investment Opportunities.

Arabic is the official language of the 22 countries in the Middle East: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Palestine, and Western Sahara.

The Middle East has always had a rich abundance of natural resources, particularly in gas and oil, however it has much more to offer us. Over 6000 UK companies actively export to Saudi Arabia alone and the UK is second largest cumulative investor in the country after the US. There are approximately 200 UK/Saudi Joint Ventures with total investment estimated at approximately US$17.5bn (Source: https://www.events.trade.gov.uk/gulf-tour-to-the-uk-1/page/countries/).

The Chief Executive if the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) has stated that they have frequently helped UK-based companies succeed abroad and bring investment into the UK from foreign firms. It is the opportunities for business that make the Middle East such an important partner across a wide range of sectors.
