Professional Hebrew Translations from MTT
Your first point of contact for Hebrew translations is one of our experienced translation project managers. They will select the right translator for you to work with, who will have the relevant knowledge and experience within the field required.
At MTT we have mother-tongue translators and interpreters located around the world, covering all the variants of the different countries where Hebrew is used.
Hebrew is a Canaanite language (one of the three Northwest Semitic languages, the others being Aramaic and Ugaritic, all from the Levant and Mesopotamia) of the Afroasiatic language family. Historically, it is one of the spoken languages of the Israelites and their descendants, the Jews and Samaritans.
Around the world, approximately 9 million people speak Hebrew. About 5 million people speak Hebrew as a native language. Most Hebrew speakers live in Israel, however, about 220,000 Hebrew speakers currently live in the United States- the second-largest population of Hebrew speakers in the world.
The Hebrew language is very interesting because there are no vowels. Much like Arabic, the Hebrew alphabet is what's called an “abjad.” This means it doesn't have separate letters for vowels. Modern Hebrew does however have some diacritical marks to help in indicating missing vowel sounds.
We often supply Hebrew translation services for software manuals, catalogues for various companies and Engineering user instructions.
At MTT, we provide translation to and from all variants of Hebrew using only highly qualified native speakers who are often experts in their chosen field – be that legal, technical, medical or anything else. We are also able to typeset and/or certify translated documents in Hebrew to ensure your document the right kind of impact.
